Narrative
Media pundit Muncie Daniels must fight for his innocence and his life after stumbling upon a murder deep in the Poconos. In the case of a prominent white supremacist in the Pocono Woods, he must work to clear his name and protect those who have been separated from his family. The show starts off well and manages to grab your interest right away. It also does well with a little development for the main character, Muncie; they even show a few moments of his martial arts training – very cool. Then we learn that he is a news reporter for CNN. So, basically, this is a well-to-do, intelligent black man. While traveling south, this intelligent black man meets another supposedly good, intelligent black man, a friend of Muncie’s, at a bar; they talk about a possible position for Muncie, and then during the conversation, his friend throws the N-word at him. That did it for me; it’s time to find something else to watch. So, based on that, the series gets an F grade.
