Narrative
The Jackal is an elusive assassin who makes his money by carrying out murders for top fees. He soon meets a dogged British intelligence officer who tracks him down in a thrilling cat-and-mouse chase across Europe.
Eddy is explosively good in this series, as he is in everything he touches

Nevertheless, the series is considered one of the best on current television because of Eddy’s performance
The MI6 agent is completely miscast; she is not scary, she is not competent, and she gets far too much airtime. The whole show could have been more exciting if we were just keeping an eye on the Jackal, but here’s the thing: Eddy is carrying the MI6 agent whose name escapes me because it’s so easily forgotten.
With your time, that’s not a problem, and I have the attention span of a goldfish
The story isn’t entirely complex, but aside from the MI6 agent, the rest of the cast is great. They don’t spend a lot of time on drama, most of the time is about the Jackal, and that’s what makes this show so great.
