Narrative
Three strangers, who live in the same New York City apartment building and share an obsession with true crimes, suddenly find themselves embroiled in a murder. He is, in fact, a very talented and accomplished musician. The viewer learned in the first episode that CHS lived above Oliver, who lived above Mabel, with that elevator scene.

BUT the first episode has CHS in an apartment on the seventh floor, Oliver on the eighth, Mabel on the ninth – the reverse order and well below CHS’s actual floor within the series. I was actually surprised by how much I liked Only Murders in the Building. There is a reason why both seasons have been nominated and won so many awards.
All three are so likable and it’s easy to root for them in this series
The cast (Selena Gomez, Steve Martin, Martin Short) and the writing is what makes this show so special. Martin and Short complement each other like the legends they are and Gomez is a much better actress than I expected. This show was so good and each episode is so entertaining that I watched both seasons in one weekend.
I can’t wait!
It’s a murder mystery show that has plenty of twists, turns and laughs. I’m waiting for Season 3 to come out soon. Season 3 should be the best one yet with Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep added to the cast.
