On the contrary
Headline (uncredited) written and performed by Ramin Djawadi. He passed the time by watching “Game of Thrones”. since the first episode (gradually because I’m so busy), I’ve heard nothing but wonderful things about it from friends, family, and IMDb reviewers. Plus, with such great talent and a brilliant book series, how could it go wrong? The good news is that 'Game of Thrones' it didn’t go bad. Not only is it a rare television show that does justice to its original source material and treats it with respect, but it stands alone as one of the best, most addictive, and consistently impressive shows of recent years.
Visually, the 'Game of Thrones' it looks amazing
A television show is so brilliant that one has to check if it is really made for television when everything is done to such a high standard that it puts many movies made today to shame. This is one of the strongest examples of an acclaimed show that deserves all the accolades. The set is spectacular throughout, the sets are extremely atmospheric and beautiful to the eye with a real eye for detail and the costumes match the characters to a tee. Then there’s the special effects, which are the best of any television show and aren’t overused or abused, the scale, the detail, and how they really have character and soul like many big budget blockbusters. As well as the cinematography and editing, which is also of cinematic quality. We can’t talk about 'Game of Thrones' not to mention the thematically, orchestrally and atmospherically multi-layered musical score and the unforgettable main theme.
Again worthy of a big budget fantasy/action/drama film
It’s hard not to feel overwhelmed by the quality of the writing, outstanding isn’t a strong enough adjective to describe how good the writing is. It is always naturally flowing, layered and thought provoking, demonstrating a wide range of emotions such as tension, poignant pathos and witty humour. The storylines are so beautifully paced, structured with such nuance and attention to coherence, high emotional levels, and touch on complex and sensitive subjects with intelligence and tact. If there’s a set piece or a more action-oriented scene, #39;there’s always a reason, never a why. Not only are the sets created with epic scale, excellent staging, excitement and dramatic tension, but there is a lot of heart and multi-layeredness beneath the grand scale and blatant attention to detail. They are not too long and there are no inappropriate elements.
The characters are also a big part of the appeal
'Game of Thrones' it has such well-developed characters and is as close to real life as you can get, despite living in a fantasy world. These characters are not hero and villain archetypes (Joffrey is the only one who comes close to that, but the difference is that he is extremely interesting, highly developed, who is well above one hundred percent on the threat level scale). there is much more to them and they have strengths and flaws. The decisions are logical and you don’t like any of the characters any less when a decision is wrong because mistakes are acknowledged and learned from.
