The main problem with this year’s PÖLP is that there were so few screenings of classic films, far fewer than planned for PÖLP 2023. .As a viewer, I have been torn apart by the overwhelming number of new films with green hands that play with concepts and techniques, but whose luxurious shells contain few eye-opening and refreshing pieces.
