roar!. Daddy AF Written and performed by Catherine Slater (aka Slater). Watching this film at the Cannes Film Festival was such a unique experience that I completely lost count of what I usually pay attention to: the direction, the script, the editing, the acting, everything.
That’s when you realize that the film is truly exceptional!
Sean Baker takes us on another anti-stereotypical journey that will make you forget about everything that is happening in your life. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to see this masterpiece in Cannes, at the iconic Bolshoi Theater Lumière, just a few rows from the set. The 10-minute standing ovation was more than deserved – it was amazing!
