Segel told Goldstein that they should at least introduce him to Ford first because he was afraid he would immediately decline
Narrative
A grieving psychotherapist begins telling his patients exactly what he thinks, ignoring his training and ethics and yet making huge changes in other people’s lives, including his own. The cast of “Shrinking” recounts their most character-defining moments from the first season and reveals who does the best job of imitating Harrison Ford. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence were asked how they convinced Harrison Ford to join the show, Segel said that Goldstein had originally wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and that he would audition people who looked like Ford.

But at least other people would know that Harrison Ford had been brought into the project, which had sparked interest from other famous actors. Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and convinced him to take the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was thrilled nonetheless.
This show is a slap in the face!!
Also, the characters have developed a lot in the first and second episodes, the timing and delivery of the dialogue is perfect, and all the actors do an excellent job! This is one of the best Piolet episodes I’ve seen in a long time! Harrison Ford does a great job in his supporting role, and Jason Segal is wonderful playing a flawed, troubled character trying to be a better person and father.
This is one of the best shows I’ve seen in a long time!
This show made me laugh harder than I have in a long time. As a psychology student, I find this show hilarious, and as a drama student, I appreciate how fluid the script is. I don’t understand the negative reviews, as this is already one of my favorite shows after two episodes.
