A patient therapist begins to tell his clients what he thinks
Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making a huge difference in people’s lives, including his own. The cast of “Downsizing” shares the key moments that defined their characters in the first season and reveals who does the best Harrison Ford impersonation. When Brett Goldstein, Jason Siegel, and Bill Lawrence were asked how they got Harrison Ford on the show, Siegel said that Goldstein initially wanted a “Harrison Ford type” and was going to audition people who looked like Ford. Siegel told Goldstein that they should have at least presented it to Ford first, thinking that he would immediately refuse, but at least other people would hear that Harrison Ford got the project, which would cause interest from other famous actors.
The acting was amazing
Eventually, Goldstein talked to Ford and convinced him to take on the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was thrilled anyway.. Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 Best TV Shows of 2023 (So Far) (2023). It was a solid production and a very unique storyline.
Is it ideal?
I love how each character embraces their flaws, shows vulnerability, and uses humor for spiritual growth. Shrinking has a lot of heartwarming moments, awkward moments, slightly funny cute moments, and laugh-out-loud moments. I hope they continue to make additional seasons of this, because the development of the characters requires it. No.
But none of us is perfect
I think that excessive use of profanity lowers the overall potential of the power here. It’s almost as if the writers are forcing the show to be edgy. Personally, I don’t think it was necessary. That’s why I gave it an 8.
