between exploration companies and landowners
Narrative
A modern-day tale of seeking fortune in the world of oil rigs in West Texas.. See writer/director Taylor Sheridan’s most popular movies and TV series on IMDb, ranked by user rating.. Landman, at least one who works in the oil industry, will act as a go-between.
They are also part fixers, problem solvers and leaders
It is usually the landowner’s job to negotiate and finalize contracts with landowners with mineral rights to lease those rights to the companies they represent. In essence, they manage the land and secure the lease so they can drill for oil and gas. Like foremen on a construction site, they build roads, man-camps, assemble excavation machines and drill the well itself, especially in remote locations.
Because those characters are TERRIBLE
Referenced in CBS News Sunday Morning: Episode #44.24 (2022). Who wrote the characters for the daughter and the mother/wife? The way a 17-year-old girl talks to her father that way.
It is extremely creepy and uncomfortable
Not only does she not act like a teenager around her father, but she looks 10 years too old to be 17. Maybe it’s to balance out the creepiness factor in her lines? The mother/wife is insufferable and has an attitude that makes me want to skip her roles.
It would be nice because the rest of the series is great
Will there be a female character who is actually likable and doesn’t just act like a sexed up dork?
