Narrative
It follows the lives of 20 characters living in a massive social housing project in the Negev desert. This is a terrible film. Without a script or a guide. The characters’ sentences are unclear and most of the time they don’t make sense. Many scenes are too long and can go on for 10 minutes instead of ending after half a minute. Also – the main character can repeat the same sentence 5-7 times with the same word…a sentence that adds nothing to the plot. The locations look like the film was shot on a $1000 budget and you keep trying to understand what they add and how they relate to the plot. This is not the first film I’ve seen from this director…and they all suffer from the same problems, so I wonder – how this director still manages to get the budgets and find producers for his films…
